Principal Broker, strategist and founder, of Dark Horse|CRE, Lindsey F. Barden has in-depth market knowledge and over a decade of experience in commercial real estate.
Lindsey previously worked for Rappaport, a Washington D.C. based real estate firm, where she operated a satellite office in Richmond, VA and prior to Rappaport was an Associate Broker with Cushman & Wakefield|Thalhimer, a full service global brokerage firm.
A native of Richmond, Lindsey is a proud alumni of VCU, where she earned her B.S. in Real Estate and Land Development while also tackling her start in the industry with the development firm, The Rebkee Company. Lindsey is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), a board member of Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia, an advisory board member of SONA BANK P.O.W.E.R and a member of AREA (VCU’s Alumni Real Estate Association).
Lindsey grew up with a competitive spirit, dancing since the age of 2 and traveling the east coast competitively in figure skating. During college, Lindsey was as a member of the VCU Gold Rush Dance Team, which she continues to support and assist with today. She is an avid equestrian and animal lover, and supports the local horse and animal rescue community. When Lindsey is not closing deals for her clients, she is spending time with her husband Nic, their four rescue dogs and cat, at the barn with her two horses or at Smith Mountain Lake with her family.
